Kurmi Software, a company under French law, entered in the Rennes Trade & Companies Register under number 529,230,773, and having registered offices at 22 rue de l’Alma – 35000 Rennes, France, is committed to Personal Data Protection for its Users in all of its operations. By accessing and using the Kurmi Software website, Users agree to follow and be bound by this Confidentiality
Policy, which may be amended or updated at any time without advance notice. Any amendment or update will appear on line on the Website.
1. The kind of personal data Kurmi Software collects
In order to view a demonstration, gain access to our extranet, download content, or participate in webinars, Users must transmit the following personally-identifying information:
- First and last names;
- E-mail address;
- Company name;
Users may add other Personal Data to their profile (telephone number, title, etc.). Kurmi Software will never collect or process Personal Data that are directly or indirectly related to race, health status, sexual orientation, or political, philosophical, or religious belief.
2. Traffic and Cookies
2.1. Traffic
Traffic data are generated when Users’ terminals connect to the internet, and are not enough by themselves to be identified. Kurmi Software may collect the following data: connection source, type and version of User’s internet browser, length of connection time,
etc. These data may be used for statistical purposes to analyze traffic, improve the Kurmi Software website, and provide a better user experience. Traffic data are always processed anonymously.
2.2. Cookies
To enhance and personalize navigation, cookies may be placed on your computer. A cookie is an element that does not identify the user but is used to record information about the navigation of it on the website. You can choose to refuse cookies by setting your browser.

Kurmi Software places cookies on User terminals. These small files may contain e.g. traffic data and User preferences. Kurmi Software places cookies in order to:
- Authenticate Users;
- Record Users’ visits and their origin (country, type of device, etc.);
- Record Users’ language and country.
Kurmi Software does not authorize its partners to place cookies on User terminals. Cookies are mandatory for browsing the Kurmi Software website, and consequently they must be accepted by Users. Users may configure their browser to deactivate cookies or warn them before accepting a cookie on the websites they visit. However, if Users deactivate the cookies, they may not be able to use all parts of the Website.
Cookies are valid for thirteen (13) months. Prior consent will be requested anew by Kurmi Software after that time.
3. How users’ personal data are handled
Kurmi Software collects and processes Users’ Personal Data in good faith, in compliance with the law, and with respect for their rights. Kurmi Software is the entity responsible for processing Users’ Personal Data. Kurmi Software’s treatment of Users’ Personal Data is reported to the French Data Protection Authority (CNIL – Commission Nationale de l’Informatique et des Libertés).
4. How users’ personal data are stored
4.1. Security
Personal Data shared by Users are hosted by OVH.
Kurmi Software does everything in its power to avoid any interference with Users’ Personal Data, such as loss, misuse, hacking, unauthorized disclosure, alteration, or destruction of the Personal Data.
4.2. Duration
Without prejudice to the following subparagraph, the Personal Data processed by Kurmi Software will be deleted no later than three (3) years after Users delete their account or after three (3) years of inactivity on the Users’ Account.
Kurmi Software is legally obligated to retain the following Personal Data resulting from the creation, modification, or deletion of the Users’ Content, for one (1) year:
- Login ID;
- Terminal-assigned ID;
- Types of protocols;
- Nature of the operation;
- Date and time of the operation;
- ID used by the author of the operation.
4.3. Deleting data
Users may request that their personal data be deleted, without prejudice to Section 4.2 above.
5. Use of personal data
Kurmi Software collects and processes data that Users voluntarily supply in order to take part in a demonstration of the software, access specific content, or use Kurmi Software. We also collect data on Users’ preferences and on traffic (such as IP addresses).
The ultimate purpose of processing data is to allow Users to evaluate the Kurmi Software solution, access specific content, and improve services by placing cookies on User terminals and sending them marketing offers.
6. Transfer of users’ personal data
To access certain features of Kurmi Software and promote our services, Users’ Personal Data (such as names and addresses) may transit through Kurmi Software’s suppliers, including but not limited to: Salesforce, Autopilot, PersistIQ, Contact Forms, and Contact Form Submissions.
Kurmi Software promises not to share or transfer Users’ Personal Data to any third parties.
Kurmi Software may provide Users’ Personal Data if required by law or ordered by a court.
7. Communication from Kurmi Software
Kurmi Software may send emails to Users at the electronic address associated with their Account for technical or administrative reasons or to notify Users of a change in its services. Kurmi Software may send Users marketing offers or content related to Kurmi Software, but Users may unsubscribe at any time.
8. How to exercise users’ rights
Pursuant to the French law of January 6, 1978, the so-called “Data Protection Act,” Users have the right to access, modify, and object to the processing of, and may request the deletion of their Personal Data collected or processed by Kurmi Software (except as stipulated in Section IV).
