In August, several Kurmi team members made their way to Las Vegas for Cisco Impact 2023, an annual sales training event for 17,500 members of Cisco’s global sales organization. This invitation-only event provided us a golden opportunity to strengthen existing relationships and establish new connections in person. It was the perfect setting to showcase how the latest features of Kurmi Provisioning Suite can significantly benefit both new and longstanding Cisco customers.
Centrally located in the event’s Partner Showcase, the Kurmi booth was abuzz with activity and animated discussions. Here, our team had the pleasure of engaging with seasoned Cisco collaborators and warmly welcomed new faces. We eagerly delved into conversations, illustrating how our combined efforts seamlessly streamline implementation and ongoing management of Cisco’s unified communications portfolio.
At the heart of the booth were live demos of Kurmi Provisioning Suite, presenting a glimpse of its prowess through various key features:
- Zero-touch provisioning: Integrations with HR systems and Active Directories provide a “zero-touch” experience for users and administrators.
- Cisco License Management: IT Admins can manage and monitor Webex Licenses more efficiently from within Kurmi Provisioning Suite to avoid orphaned devices and underutilized licenses.
- Audit and Automatic Update: Kurmi Provisioning Suite audits Control Hub and the native Cisco UC portals, replicating any changes on the Kurmi database to ensure up-to-date data.
- Log Tracking & Roll Back: Kurmi Provisioning Suite logs all operations and is the only UC provisioning and management tool with the functionality to revert any action in one click when necessary.
Partnering for Success: Kurmi and Cisco
For over a decade, Kurmi has stood as a trusted Cisco Solutions Partner, and our collaboration has been pivotal in solving unified communications challenges faced by large enterprises and organizations. We deeply value this partnership, often pooling our expertise to design winning solutions for our clients. Whether it’s guiding a migration to Webex Calling or crafting a customized provisioning and management solution, Kurmi Provisioning Suite plays an integral role.
This appreciation and recognition of our collaboration reached a pinnacle during the event, where Cisco showcased Kurmi on the stage at the Live Broadcast Closing Global Session. Truly, an honor to be recognized as a partner that significantly contributes to Cisco’s success.
A Shared Vision: Migrating to the Cloud with Kurmi
Looking ahead, Kurmi remains steadfast in our partnership with Cisco, providing more support as Cisco prioritizes migration to the Cloud. Moving unified communications to the Cloud offers organizations more flexibility while lowering overhead expenses, but the migration itself can be complex and time consuming.
Kurmi Provisioning Suite historically has been a tool utilized in these projects, allowing for controlled migrations and providing a single platform to manage multiple UC applications during the transition. But, with its new features, organizations will be able to fully automate migrations – easily extracting, validating, and even transferring data.
These advancements make Kurmi Provisioning Suite the one-stop, single-pane-of-glass for Day 0 and beyond configuration, implementation, and ongoing management. These new capabilities stand as a testament to Kurmi’s unwavering dedication to simplifying complex processes, empowering our partners at Cisco as they help their customers move from Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM) to Webex Calling MT or Webex Calling DI.
Navigating the Future
As Cisco Impact 2023 neared its end, our team left feeling excited about and confident in the future of our partnership with Cisco. Together, we’re able to design and implement enterprise collaboration solutions that best fit our customers’ needs, ensuring that implementation and ongoing management is simple and practical.
Stay tuned for more updates from Kurmi as we continue paving the way for seamless unified communications migrations and streamlined provisioning and management.
