Automate Cisco collaboration delivery at scale.
The Flow Partner Toolkit provides Flow Discovery, Flow Migration, Flow Test, and Flow Gate—four applications that handle discovery, migration execution, validation, and access control across Cisco collaboration environments.
Originally known as pre_yarn, wrangler_, test_mate, and yarn_gate from yarnlab, which joined Kurmi in July 2025.
Four applications across the delivery lifecycle.
Flow Discovery
(yarnlab pre_yarn)
From customer assessment to new project pipeline.
Flow Discovery extracts and analyzes Cisco UC configuration data to provide accurate environment assessments for scoping, migration planning, and opportunity identification.
Used before a project is sold, it identifies migration readiness, configuration gaps, and aging infrastructure within existing customer environments. Used during delivery, that same data carries into Flow Migration and Flow Test without re-extraction.
Key Capabilities
- Configuration extraction from CUCM and IM&P
- CDR analysis for bandwidth assessments and trunk requirements
- End-of-life device identification and license tracking
- Active user detection and device registration status
Flow Migration
(yarnlab wranlger_)
Automate complex migrations with consistent execution.
Flow Migration automates data migration from extraction through validation and loading—handling the data transformations required for moves from Cisco UCM to Webex Calling environments.
It eliminates manual spreadsheet work by automating data extraction, validation, and transformation. Built-in capabilities like number normalization, phone button template de-duplication, and automatic site detection handle the repetitive work that causes delays and introduces errors.
Key Capabilities
- Automated data extraction, cleaning, and validation
- Number normalization and phone button template de-duplication
- Automatic site detection and number range identification
- Real-time status reporting and configuration exception alerts
Flow Test
(yarnlab test_mate)
Validate changes before users pick up the phone.
Flow Test automates testing across Cisco UC platforms to validate call flows, dial plans, and feature functionality before and after configuration changes. It catches issues that would otherwise surface when users attempt to make calls.
Used for baseline testing, change validation, and post-change verification, it runs automated test sequences across dial plan routing, voicemail, conferencing, transfers, and PSTN connectivity. The same tests run before and after changes, isolating issues introduced by the change from pre-existing configuration problems.
Key Capabilities
- Automated call flow and media path validation
- Pre- and post-change testing to isolate issues
- Test coverage for DTMF, forwarding, transfer, conferencing, and media services
- Extensible test remotes for desk phones, video endpoints, and mobile clients
Flow Gate
(yarnlab yarn_gate)
Govern access across multiple customer tenants.
Flow Gate provides role-based access control and audit logging across Cisco UC platforms—replacing informal credential sharing with centralized authentication, governed access, and complete audit trails.
Used in multi-tenant environments, it authenticates users via LDAP and controls access system-by-system across CUCM, Unity Connection, IM&P, and Expressway. Teams get centralized visibility into who can access which customer systems. Customers get audit trails showing who accessed their environment and what changed.
Key Capabilities
- LDAP authentication with role-based access control
- System-by-system authorization across customer tenants
- Audit logging of configuration actions with user attribution
- Instant access revocation and session management
Consistent execution at scale.
The Flow Partner Toolkit standardizes how teams assess, migrate, validate, and manage access across customer environments. This means fewer surprises, stronger margins, and outcomes that don’t vary by engineer or project size.
Revenue-Driven Growth
Identify new project opportunities within the existing customer base before customers request them.
Margin Protection
Reduce scoping surprises, cutover failures, and post-change incidents that erode project margins.
Competitive Differentiation
Deliver with a structured, automated, and validated approach that sets the practice apart.
Scalable Operations
Deliver consistent outcomes across projects regardless of team size or complexity.
Built to work together across multiple delivery scenarios.
LARGE-SCALE MIGRATIONS
Deliver complex migrations easily.
Large migrations are difficult to execute consistently. When different engineers handle different sites, or something gets missed at cutover, the rework can erase project margins. The Flow Partner Toolkit gives every migration the same structured path: Flow Discovery maps the environment upfront, Flow Migration automates configuration changes consistently across every site, and Flow Test validates call flows before users pick up a phone.
PROACTIVE PIPELINE GENERATION
Uncover hidden opportunities.
New project opportunities often surface reactively, when a customer mentions a problem or a contract comes up for renewal. Flow Discovery flips that, automatically scanning existing environments for configuration gaps, aging infrastructure, and migration readiness. Every assessment becomes a potential pipeline conversation, and the data that surfaces the opportunity carries directly into scoping and delivery.
MULTI-CUSTOMER OPERATIONSManage multiple tenants securely.
The informal processes that worked at ten customers break down at forty. Different configurations, different engineers, different access histories: without structure it becomes impossible to manage, audit, or defend. Flow Gate brings governed, auditable access across every tenant. Flow Discovery provides visibility into environments. Flow Test validates changes no matter who made them. The operating model scales with the business.
