NEW YORK, NY USA – March 27, 2023
Kurmi Software, a global leader in Unified Communications management and automation, has added key cloud-enabling enhancements to support the evolution of Cisco and Microsoft technology as these companies and the broader market move towards cloud-first delivery models for communications systems.
With the latest release, Kurmi Provisioning Suite, delivered in the cloud (Kurmi as a Service, or KaaS) or on-premises, now supports the Microsoft Graph API and Webex Calling Multi-Tenant (MT). These upgrades in Kurmi’s ability to provision, manage, and automate digital workers using Microsoft and Cisco underlying technology are crucial as enterprises and service providers migrate to cloud solutions.
Microsoft introduced the Graph API to augment its historical – and still primary – PowerShell provisioning interface. Kurmi’s technology provides 360-degree management by integrating seamlessly with both tools. This integration that supports past, present, and future Microsoft tools enables all facets of provisioning from simple user creation to the most complex user and group management capabilities. Kurmi technology reads, updates, and deletes users and groups in Azure AD and it can also manage user attributes, reset passwords, and assign group memberships among an extensive array of configurable options.
In addition, Kurmi Provisioning Suite now enables enterprises to optimize Microsoft license management a powerful tool to save money with smart audits. In sum, adding integration to the Graph API provides a powerful and more scalable set of tools to manage Azure Active Directory resources and enhances Kurmi integration security with the latest authentication and authorization services.
Cisco is also moving rapidly to a cloud delivery model with its Webex Calling Dedicated Instance – Cisco Unified Call Manager with Platform-as-a-Service delivery – and Webex Calling Multi-Tenant (MT) as a shared tenant Software-as-a-Service model. With multiple on-premises delivery options and multiple cloud delivery options, Kurmi Provisioning Suite is a key complement to Cisco’s native tools – including Control Hub – to manage complex user bases on multiple Cisco technologies through staged migrations. Whereas Control Hub provides tools for monitoring and alerting on Webex Calling MT, Kurmi acts as a centralized command center for all Cisco platforms (on-premises, cloud and hybrid) for provisioning, management, and automation, alongside the full complement of advanced Kurmi tools for security, audits, and data protection.
“Today, enterprises are facing a multitude of administration challenges when it comes to managing digital workers, which include on-premises to cloud migration, multiple vendors, new security challenges, multiple system, and hybrid management. Kurmi simplifies this complexity and allows automation of recurring tasks. With the addition of support for Webex Calling MT and the Microsoft Graph API, we are now able to support enterprise customers in the challenges they are facing in 2023 and into the cloud future.” comments Bruno Guirardel, VP of Products at Kurmi.
Kurmi is attending Enterprise Connect 2023 from March 27-29, at the Gaylord Palms in Orlando, Florida. Visit booth 802 to see the game-changing enhancements in action, and for product demonstrations, complimentary migration consultations and a chance to discuss key unified communications challenges.
