Kurmi Software today signaled its continued global expansion with the appointment of Micah Singer as its new CEO, effective October 1, 2022. Singer, the founder of VoIP Logic, will lead the company from its US offices. His appointment follows the successful five-year leadership of Thibaut Felgeres, during which Kurmi Software quadrupled its revenue and transformed into an established global Unified Communications Administration Management provider with Global 2000 enterprise customers and service providers in 25 countries around the world.
Singer brings 25 years’ experience in the telecommunications technology market having founded and led global brand, VoIP Logic, acquired by BroadSoft/Cisco (NASDAQ: CSCO) in 2016, and, more recently, Microsoft ISV Partner, TeamMate Technology. Known for his considerable international growth expertise, Singer has a proven track record in commercializing innovative telecommunications technology solutions for global enterprises and service providers. He has served as a Kurmi Software Board Member for the past two years, contributing to the company’s strategy and governance.
“I am excited to assume the role of CEO at such a momentous time for Kurmi. Unified Communications, collaboration tools, and IT systems are amazing but complex technologies that require smart and powerful management software. As enterprises adopt new systems and migrate applications to the cloud across complicated multi-vendor environments, solutions that can significantly reduce this complexity will save time, money and produce a better outcome. I believe Kurmi is best placed to solve this problem which is common to the largest operators and enterprises,” explained Singer. “After working with Thibaut for several years on the Kurmi board, it is an honor to succeed him as CEO. Thibaut is a transformative leader and a person of high character who has led Kurmi through a rapid period of change over the past five years. We will continue this trajectory into Kurmi’s next phase of growth.”
Kurmi Software’s solutions are relied upon by some of the world’s largest financial services organizations, hospitals, academic institutions, managed services providers, and telcos to provide simplified, smarter, and automated UC administration management. The company’s recent growth has seen it establish an internationally focused leadership and sales team to address heightened market demand from enterprises challenged with managing user provisioning and administration at scale during a period of accelerated digital transformation and a permanent shift to hybrid work environments. As demand increases, under Singer’s leadership the company will continue to build market visibility, strengthen partnerships with major UC providers, and deepen relationships with global enterprise customers.
“Micah is an inspiring leader who brings the excitement of an entrepreneur along with the highly relevant experience of driving strategic expansion at global telecommunication businesses. This makes him the ideal choice to accelerate Kurmi’s growth” added Pascal Moindrot, Co-Founder and COO, Kurmi Software. “His understanding of our culture and core values, combined with his expertise as a technology leader with a proven track record of success will be key as we position Kurmi to embrace the opportunities ahead of us. On behalf of the entire Board, we are delighted to welcome Micah as Kurmi’s next CEO.”
